Robinhood short selling and trailing stops
TradersPost now supports short selling stocks with Robinhood, along with trailing stop orders for long and buy-to-cover exits.
- Open short positions with sell signals and cover them with buy signals
- Short entries are limited to
MarketandLimitorder types - Short sales use
Daytime in force (GTCis not supported for sell short) - Trailing stops (percentage or dollar amount) work for long entries/exits and buy-to-cover
Robinhood still does not support bracket, OTO, or OCO order classes. Stop and take profit exits continue to submit as separate simple orders.
