The one Kraken detail that trips people up is a setting on the API key itself. Get that right and the rest is a normal signal-to-exchange webhook workflow for spot crypto.
Position limits count each pair
If you set a maximum on strategy positions, crypto limits are per pair. Enter the full pair, not the bare BTC, when you create a limit.
Pairs counted separately
- BTC-USD Counted Its own count
- BTC-USDT Counted Counted separately from BTC-USD

Setup Kraken connects with an API key, not a login
Create the key in Kraken, copy it, and paste it into TradersPost. The steps are above.

Orders Exits are separate signals
Kraken takes simple orders only, so take profit and stop loss cannot be attached to the entry. Send the entry first, then send a separate signal later to exit for take profit or stop loss.

Kraken does not offer trailing stop orders.

Kraken closes and exits a position in your default quote currency, USD unless you change it in the connection settings.
