Compare brokers and prop firms side by side
New comparison pages show how two connections, or two prop firms, differ: how they sign in, asset classes, short selling, fractional quantity, order types, time in force, bracket orders, attached trailing stops, modifying open orders, and paper accounts, plus each firm's own rules for prop firms. Start from the Compare page on traderspost.io or the site footer.
A sidebar that gets out of the way
On wide screens you can collapse the app sidebar to a row of icons with the panel button next to the logo. Hover an icon to see its name, and TradersPost remembers your choice the next time you load a page. On smaller screens the menu drawer now slides in from the left and closes from the X or the backdrop.
Webhook request limits
Oversized or unusually complex webhook messages can consume resources needed to process signals. Requests now have a 16 KiB size limit, bounded nesting and structure, and a shared formula budget across all items in a batch. Requests above a limit return HTTP 413 without creating a signal log; simplify the message before sending it again.
See Request limits for the exact limits.
Enhancements and fixes
- Deleting several strategies and subscriptions on one account at the same time no longer fails with a database deadlock.
- TradersPost now refuses crypto short entries on Public.com connections, because Public.com's crypto risk disclosure prohibits short sales of digital assets.
- Website, docs, and blog pages no longer claim futures on Interactive Brokers, static IP support being explored for Binance, or crypto short selling on Public.com, and the tastytrade logo shows again.
- Connecting or reconnecting a Tradier paper account now uses your Tradier sandbox access token. Login with Tradier connects live accounts only.
